From 1985 to 2008, David successfully served as the Head of Lakefield College School. During his 23 year tenure, David grew his passion for advancement, planning and boarding of independent schools. As a well-regarded leader in the industry, we are proud to have David as an adviser, able to provide us with valuable insights on the services we provide. David's past experience working with independent schools includes serving as former Board Chair of Canadian Independent Schools (CIS) (Ontario) and as a former board member of Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). He is currently an advisor and accreditation coordinator for Canadian Accredited Independent Schools.
Jacob Rodenburg, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed.
Outdoor and Experiential Education Advisor
Jacob has taught in the field of Outdoor Education for more than 30 years. He is currently an Environmental Education Instructor at Trent University and the Executive Director of Camp Kawartha. As a published author and leader in the field of outdoor education and environmental stewardship, Jacob has received several recognitions for his dedication to this work. Jacob spearheaded the construction of one of Canada's most sustainable buildings, known as the 'The Camp Kawartha Education Centre'. Throughout his career, Jacob has passionately advocated for and passed down his teachings on the environment and all the great things it has to offer us. Jacob is a leader in the field of environmental education and stewardship and we are proud to have him as an advisor for our team.
