What is your big vision for 2026?

A recent LinkedIn connection asked me this simple but thoughtful question. I had to sit with it for a few days.

In 2026, I want to continue working with clients who are genuinely committed to effective leadership and delivering real impact in their sector. The work I enjoy most through Rudy Massimo & Associates is with leaders who care about how they lead, not just what they achieve. For me, leadership has always been about authenticity and integrity....especially when decisions are hard and the path forward isn’t obvious.

I also hope to share Where The Trails Lead with more people around the world. This book is my most personal work. It's an honest reflection on the adventures that shaped me, the mentors who challenged me, and the leadership lessons learned through risk-taking, resilience, loss, and growth. Writing it helped me better understand my own journey; sharing it has reminded me how universal these lessons really are.

I’m also excited to do more speaking in 2026, bringing the stories and lessons from the book into conversations with leaders, teams, and communities. I continue to be inspired by the power of story to create space for reflection, learning, and better leadership.

I remember being asked this same question many years ago. My answer then was simple: I want to make a difference every day and live deliberately. That hasn’t changed. If anything, 2026 feels like an opportunity to do that work with greater clarity, intention, and purpose.....and of course, with plenty of cycling adventures along the way.

So I’ll put the question out to my friends and colleagues: What is your big vision for 2026?
